Gretchen's last apartment burned down after an incident with a Hitachi magic wand being plugged into a strand of Christmas lights, and while she's a bit more aware of fire safety as a result, her cleanliness absolutely hasn't changed at all.

▶ MEDICAL INFORMATION:Gretchen suffers from clinical depression, and sometimes goes through major depressive episodes where she finds it difficult to do much besides sleep. It's something that she's lived with for a long time and that she keeps hidden from most of the people in her life until she absolutely has to talk about it. Gretchen is aware that this is a part of her life and something that she'll always have to deal with, but is not currently on any medication or seeing a therapist.
